Visiting Portland

Getting Around

Check out these downloadable maps of Portland to help you plan your visit. Also, Portland has a great transit network! Use this handy tool, the Trimet Trip Interactive Planner, to help plan your visits using the Max train, Streetcar and buses.

What to See, Do, and Eat

Lunch and dinner options abound in Portland. For lunch check out the Portland State University food cart pod located at S.W. Fourth Ave. & College St. (about a 5 minute walk from the main conference venue). You can also find several other food cart pods around the city here. For more options and ideas check out Travel Portland’s food and drink page.

Go on a daycation! Daycations are multi-stop family-focused adventures that get kids and parents out and exploring all of Portland Metro’s 3,000 miles of parks, natural areas, trails, waterways, and urban areas. Curated itineraries made by local parents here in the Portland-Vancouver Metro area can be found on the NW Family Daycation app, brought to you by the Intertwine Alliance and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
